"...but of Love, of Joy and of a Sound Mind."

Now to Him who is able to keep you from stumbling, and to make you stand in the presence of His glory blameless with great joy, to the only God our Savior, through Jesus Christ our Lord, be glory, majesty, dominion and authority, before all time and now and forever. Amen. Jude 24-25

An unfinished song

Praise the Lord, He rides above the heavens
The angels feel His presence, that's where I want to be
Everyday His glory fills the temple
Ablazed in all it's splendor the world has yet to see

I am satisfied

I've been reading John Piper again to regain my passion for the supremacy of God in all things for the joy of all men. I am reminded that God is most glorified in me when I am most satisfied in Him. We're constantly called to seperate ourselves from enjoying the pleasures of this world to pursue to will of God; which means that to know the will of God, one must give up the seeking of pleasures in this life. Thus we face a conflict. Can we seek the will of God and yet enjoy the pleasures of this life? Pastor Piper helped me reslove this conflict in seeking the will of God we can also seek pleasure in this life if our greatest pleasure in this life is God Himself! It goes back to creation; the purpose of God in creating man. That is to glorify him. God did not create us to look into the mirror to see how good we look, but He created us to marvel, to stand in awe and to savour Himself through all that He has made. Psalm 19:1 proclaims that the work of His hands declare His glory. God exhibits His awesomeness through the vastness, beauty and mystery of the earth and of the universe. That is enough to "wow" me; to put me into submission; to spread my hand out with my head lifted up to the sky to declare with the words of the hymn, "My God, How Great Thou Art!"

Have been listening to a lot of Matt Redman recently as well. Two songs sticks out. "Blessed be Your name" and "What I have vowed". These two songs has been my prayer to God.

1:Lord, I am not my own, no longer my own,
Living now for You, and everything I think
All I say and do is for You, my Lord.

2:Now, taking up the cross, walking on Your paths,
Holding out Your truth running in this race,
Bowing every day, all for You, my Lord.

CHORUS:And what I have vowed I will make good.
Every promise made will be fulfilled
'Till the day I die, every day I live
Is for You, is for You, is for You,
Is for You, is for You, is for You

3:Earth has nothing I desire that lives outside of You,
I'm consumed with You.
Treasures have no hold,
Nothing else will do, only You, my Lord.

CHORUS

Chia Ee is not 7 months old. Everyday is a joy for me and Xiaowei and Xiaowei is an even greater joy to me than ever. My delight in Christ is reflected in my love for her and everything that I do. I am going to hold on to Christ in whatever I do.

Keep me in You forever, Lord!

My Hell

This song is by Disciple. It really expresses what hell really is - a life devoid of God.

Liang, u'll love this!!!

It's not found in throwing roses on a grave
Or in the cursed bottom of a bottled plague
It wasn't in the torment that will never fade
But I see the truth now

This was my hell living without You here
Even Heaven is hell if somehow You were not there
If You were not there

It wasn't in the flames that won't stop burning
Or within a fire that is never quenched
It wasn't in the brokenness of all my failings
But I see the truth now

Lord, I need to breathe You
Drink You, dream You
Nothing ever will compare
Need to breathe You, drink You
Dream You, need You

This was my hell living without You
When You're so far away
Even heaven is hell if heaven's without You
When You're so far away from me
Everything's hell if somehow You are not there

People say I've grown...

...fat!

I was shooting at NAFA yesterday. So I decided to call Serene Goh because her office was near by. When she saw me she said she got a shocked coz I put on some weight. Wah piang, that really motivated me to go do something about my eating, sleeping and exercising habits. It didn't help that during the shoot, an FSV junior said the same thing. That's because he hasn't seen me for almost 2 years. Then last week, I met a camera man whom I've not seen for almots 3 years and he said the same thing. This only confirm my suspicion that I am fat.

But when I look at myself in the mirror, I think I look fit. Bigger is better, but flabby is not though. hahahaha...

Spiritually I think I am doing well. Fitter than my physical health, what a motivation it is as well. I always think that discipline in physical training is the same as spiritual training. I'll never grow fit if I never take time to exercise in prayer and reading of the Word of God.

Anyway, here are some photos of the Chinese New Year shoot I was involved in recently. This was taken on the very last day of shoot. I wasn't involved with every episode, but all the crew had fun. I really enjoyed the experience.

Li Tung, Sandra, Ezann, Me and Ah Goh.

I also took time off to do a short-film. Shorts are usually non-paying gigs. However we do it to help the film-making because of his passion and vision. I am doing this shoot with Daniel and Melvin. These two guys are super reliable soundman. They may be my FSV junior, but I learn so much from them. They are hardworking and innovative. Really inspiring people.

How can I end off this entry without a new phot of me and my "Pudding Baby"? This was taken two days ago. My "P" - "Possibility", "Potentiality", "Promise" and "Pudding Baby".
