"...but of Love, of Joy and of a Sound Mind."

Now to Him who is able to keep you from stumbling, and to make you stand in the presence of His glory blameless with great joy, to the only God our Savior, through Jesus Christ our Lord, be glory, majesty, dominion and authority, before all time and now and forever. Amen. Jude 24-25

Playing drums again at G2

What happened in G2 last Sunday is one of the highlights of my life.

What happened was James could not make it for he rehearsal on Wed at the last minute and they practiced without a drummer. I came first service and was surprised to see no drummer work a full band. After the first service, Cynthia asked me to play. I said need to ask Ps Meng Charm or not? She said play first, we deal with it after service. That exhilaration an excitement of playing unrehearsed the old songs with some new and old friends at the 2nd service was hard to hide. I know I did not play perfectly, I felt too cautious about what I was playing after not playing hard in church for almost 7 years. It was a real "Heart Before Beat" moment.

Aimin texted me after the service and told me that Cynthia spoke to him and Ps Meng Charm he said said "it is for god's glory". That is enough and sufficient. Here were nay-sayers and I know who else wil frown if they are still on staff. But that does not matter to me at all. You can stop anyone, but dun ever stop Chia Jenn Hui.
