"...but of Love, of Joy and of a Sound Mind."

Now to Him who is able to keep you from stumbling, and to make you stand in the presence of His glory blameless with great joy, to the only God our Savior, through Jesus Christ our Lord, be glory, majesty, dominion and authority, before all time and now and forever. Amen. Jude 24-25

Perfect time for a hanging

There were two people at I met (and hung out with albeit a short while), two people whose Facebook account I browse through thoroughly and 3 person that I've been out of touch for more than 5-10 years.

Met Shawn and Vern. I know Shawn through and through because of this constant updates and seeking my advise on some issues he faces. I met Vern yesterday as I was filming near her house and I asked her to come check out the set. We had no time for a more intimate chat, but one look and you can sometimes tell a person's life from the tattoos, the clothes and choice accessories on them. What a mother of assumption. It can be a recipe of all farkups too.

Cheryl Fan came into the radar this week. That girl that hung out with Liang and I when I was working in the MCM studio in block 27. That was in 2001. I have not seen her or kept in contact with her since she graduated in 2002. There was a song that I wrote with Liang called "It's ok to fail" and Liang and we sang the prototype to her and she liked it. I've never revisited that song again. It has never been finished. I guess I should do justice to it. Yes!

I am still looking for Karen Lim and Lydia Wong. I wonder where they are today. Are they still intact? Makes you wonder why I still bother. But wait, why wouldn't you wonder? Whatever they have become may be their choice, but looking at the events, people and circumstances that surrounded the key moments of their lives, each one of us have a part to play in their disappearance. Our ignorance may have chased them away.
