"...but of Love, of Joy and of a Sound Mind."

Now to Him who is able to keep you from stumbling, and to make you stand in the presence of His glory blameless with great joy, to the only God our Savior, through Jesus Christ our Lord, be glory, majesty, dominion and authority, before all time and now and forever. Amen. Jude 24-25

I have been trying to write and come up with tunes again lately, but it is really not easy in this state of mind. Just what kind of state is my mind in in the first place?

First of all the feature film that I was on is starting to become a drag with all the postponement. On any year before this, I would have been dead worried and become critical and annoyed, but yet I am not upset at all albeit some disappointment because of the uncertainty of how the year would turn out because I have something more urgent and important in life than losing a work and worrying as if I will never work again - JoJo will be primary One next year!! OMG!!! He is growing up so quickly! I wish time will go slowly. He will turn 6 in December and the following month, he will be going to "Big boys' school". Oh what a blessing to be a daddy to these two boys! I am enjoying fatherhood a lot now. Oh God, pls gimme the strength, patience, grace, favor and wisdom to be the best father for my little chipmunks.

John 9:3

[Josh was born with Autism so] "'the works of God should be revealed in him'

It's a divine jujitsu of sorts. Satan acted, God counteracted, and good won!"

If I take care of Your biz

"If I take care of Your biz, I rest in the promise that your will take care of mine."

So what is my calling at this point of my life? Gone were the days of youth ministry where everything that I did was to see them grow in the light of Christ. I do not know if I did a good job! but what become of those little ones, god knows what they have become! I know to a certain extent thanks to social media. I thank God for those times and those who were placed under my wings. Some may have gone away but ther are those who stayed in touch. Either way, I pray that what I have imparted will stay in them and, by the grace of God, be brought to their remembrance in God's appointed hour.

So one form of discipleship gives way to another, one that I am proud to be and also fearful in doing so- parenthood. It seems more and more difficult to bring up a child I the ways of The Lord and under the teachings of the bible without being labelled today. The world view of things are changing rapidly. I am still holding onto my biblical upbringing and I will continue to teach them to my sons. And I pray that they will make the right decision to follow he God of the bible and their fathers no matter what the cost. Right now, we are all in retreat. Not defeated, but definitely beaten into a closet; not in hiding but in prayer and desperation for direction and protection.

My musical journey

The musical journey that I am embarking on is a lonely one.

Get back! Get back!

The world's response to the gospel reveals their attitude towards God and his Word.

Quality in our holiness. How? Reading and renewing our minds with the word of God.

"No bible, no breakfast"

"No bible, no email"

"No bible, no anything..."

Getting back to the place before it all went haywire, short-circuited and caused mass confusion.

Retreat! Retreat! Retreat!!
