Current Project
Edit:
I'll be working on Reality programme over the next 44 days. During the last 2 days, I met a fellow believer in the Lord (that[s what the "WWJD" bracelet is for. To weave out the believers in the industry and it worked!).
I've been reading 1 and 2 Timothy a lot lately. Reading and re-reading about the character of a Christian leader. I may not be a leader in the church, but I am still a leader in the family and a testimony to the community.
Oh, how the verses silently screams within me in my pursuit of Godly perfection and the struggles to attain it. Thanks be to God for the grace that is all so sufficient in the midst of all the trials and temptations. This is 2 Timothy 2:14 -26. It's verses 22 onwards that the Lord has really placed upon my heart and set a pace in my race toward the finish line. It's a yoke on my back, but it's light. A weight I rather carry than the weight of the cares of this world.
14 Remind myself of these things, charging myself before the Lord not to strive about words to no profit, to the ruin of the hearers. 15 Be diligent to present myself to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. 16 But shun profane and idle babblings, for they will increase to more ungodliness. 17 And their message will spread like cancer. Hymenaeus and Philetus are of this sort, 18 who have strayed concerning the truth, saying that the resurrection is already past; and they overthrow the faith of some. 19 Nevertheless the solid foundation of God stands, having this seal: “The Lord knows those who are His,” and, “Let everyone who names the name of Christ depart from iniquity.” 20 But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and silver, but also of wood and clay, some for honor and some for dishonor. 21 Therefore if anyone cleanses himself from the latter, he will be a vessel for honor, sanctified and useful for the Master, prepared for every good work. 22 Flee also youthful lusts; but pursue righteousness, faith, love, peace with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart. 23 But avoid foolish and ignorant disputes, knowing that they generate strife. 24 And a servant of the Lord must not quarrel but be gentle to all, able to teach, patient, 25 in humility correcting those who are in opposition, if God perhaps will grant them repentance, so that they may know the truth, 26 and that they may come to their senses and escape the snare of the devil, having been taken captive by him to do his will.
And Larry Norman's "Weight of the World" has been playing in the radio within my mind as a reminder of the verses aboove.
It all comes down to who you crucify
You either kiss your future or your past goodbye
God can hel you find
If you only try
Don't carry the weight of the world
It's breaking you down on your back like a bolder
Before it's too late get rid of it now
Take it off from your shoulder
You've been abused but you can lose
The weight of the world
If you're reading this, God bless you. I will see light and life again after the end of this programme. There will be a lot of molding and chipping by the Lord in this shoot, I feel it in my spirit and I dun wanna lose this war within me.
