"...but of Love, of Joy and of a Sound Mind."

Now to Him who is able to keep you from stumbling, and to make you stand in the presence of His glory blameless with great joy, to the only God our Savior, through Jesus Christ our Lord, be glory, majesty, dominion and authority, before all time and now and forever. Amen. Jude 24-25

Bangkok and the present job

I was in Bangkok last week for a short shoot (3 days only) to wrap up a documentary. It was quite a easy shoot albeit all the travellings and waiting in the mini-bus. The traffic condition on the roads of Bangkok only did more harm to me as i was down with some silly breathing problem since National Day. However one thing i love about this trip was the food. Goodness gracious, meal time were the moments that I crave and we really went for it though it was the usual Tom Yam soup, Thai Noodles, Stirred Fried Vege or Green Curry. Yummy!!! No wonder I have not fully recovered!!

Lunch at a unique place

The place where we had our lunch on the first day. It's like a hut on top of a canal which was surprisingly "clean". It doesn't have the "longkang" odour. Their portion of Thai noodles was very small, but after two bowls and lots of Thai spices I felt really bloated. I wanted to do bowl no.3 but I know I can't walk after that if I did.

Carl and me

I am working on a programme this week about some "healthy water". The highlight of the shoot has to be knowing Judy and Carl. I've meet Carl only once before this shoot (at the Kata sale) but have spoken over the phone to each other before. We hit off really well. What was actually a potentially mundane shoot was made fresh with another soundman's company (not competition).
