Heart of Worship

I played drums for the evening service coz Blob had suspected food-poinsoning. I didn't even rehearse with the worship team, but it was all good! The worship session was usual, u know. One of the songs we sang was "Heart of worship" and the first verse of that song is a timely reminder that Jesus is most important, above all else. I am greatly humbled by the things that has happened and the things that didn't because I know all things happen without God not knowing. Surely as His eyes are on the sparrow, I know He watches over me.

There is a hunger for the Lord and the eagerness to pray either alone or corperately with others. When I pray I feel that I am in focus with God's spirit. Trusting wholeheartedly in His word coupled with prayer sustains me. I used to be so ignorant about God's word and it's effect on believers. Now I can't leave without His word and prayer. If the saints in the Old and New Testaments prayed and persevered despite all odds, even Jesus set for us an example in the gospels, don't we all need to trust in those tried and tested methods? I look foward to living everyday now. It's a chance to trust God and see His hands at work in my life.

Today was another CFS full band jam. JOel wasn't with us though. I didn't really enjoyed myself but I am glad the rest of them did. I was very frustrated with not being able to hear the fall back properly. But as long as the others enjoyed it, I am ok lah.

Eh Van, jia you! Don't be afraid to express urself! May be those songs are still too unfamiliar, but don't worry about it, k? U will have many opportunity to work on them. Strive to achieve ur personal style. This takes time and experience, but all is good. Yeah?

Liang, I am glad that we form this band to add spices to our friendship. You are a great indie-rock guitar player and your singing improved a lot today as the jam prgressed today. Keep it up, k?

Jon, u are improving so much! All the playing has helped, man! Keep it up! Listen to more indie-rock man! We need u to kick our butts so that we can fly!! Are u ready to kick it?

Joel, I really thank God for that 5 mins we had in the office. I really treasure that shor time we spent sharing. Let the Lord, His Joy and Everything that He is be your strength, k?
