"...but of Love, of Joy and of a Sound Mind."

Now to Him who is able to keep you from stumbling, and to make you stand in the presence of His glory blameless with great joy, to the only God our Savior, through Jesus Christ our Lord, be glory, majesty, dominion and authority, before all time and now and forever. Amen. Jude 24-25

What's the point...

... of controversy?

Calvinism vs Armenism

I admit that I read a lot from authors who are mainly leaning towards Calvinism. Being in our church for such a long time, I was taught to beware of Calvinism. As I started attended B.S. it made me more aware of the difference and challenge me to read about it. I am not a Calvinist, neither am I an Armenist, but I am definitely a Christian. One thing that I realised is that a lot of us listen to what our teacher taught, but never really ever read about it. Thus there were a lot of misconceptions about Calvinism which I found out was "hyper-Calvinism". John MacArthur said that he do not like to be labelled a Calvinist because of the negative connotation that the title brings people who know not much about it.

I am not prepare to give an entry about the difference and where I stand. But it's very important to read and understand that both sides got their stand from the bible. Both are not wrong, but I strongly believe that there is middle-ground which when all is put together make sense.

I love what Rachael Lim declared at the end of our conversation this morning, I just want to know what the Bible says about our salvation.

Praise the Lord! That's the way to go, sister!
