"...but of Love, of Joy and of a Sound Mind."

Now to Him who is able to keep you from stumbling, and to make you stand in the presence of His glory blameless with great joy, to the only God our Savior, through Jesus Christ our Lord, be glory, majesty, dominion and authority, before all time and now and forever. Amen. Jude 24-25

Mis-placed Desire

I've been playing and thinking too much about drums.

Where your heart is, there your treasure will be also. Your heart is on the drums, there your treasure is. The only question, will those treasure last for eternity or stolen by thieves?

Thank God for drums. I hope he'll gimme one in heaven. I've have forgot to add that drumming is my expression of emotion and act of worship.

Sometimes the love of drums for worship overtakes the real purpose of worship. Not that drumming for worship is bad, but in itself, a fine line of idolatry. That goes for guitarists, singers, worship leaders. When the purpose of worship has been re-directed from its object then, yes it is a bad thing.

Yes, u are right, but I know what I am doing. I miss drumming. I have never taken my focus off playing. We definitely did when we were younger. God forbid that we make the same mistake twice, but we will along the way.
